Dutch through the language you already speak
Most Dutch courses explain Dutch through Dutch or through English. If your first language is Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian or Polish, that means leaving your most useful tool unused: your own language.
I teach contrastively. I explain Dutch at exactly the points where it differs from what you already know: articles and de/het, word order in subordinate clauses, separable verbs, a grammar without cases, and the vowels that speakers of Slavic languages tend to merge. Where Dutch works like your language, we move on quickly. Where it does not, we take the time.
I speak Russian and Bulgarian fluently and use Ukrainian and Polish as support languages. The lessons are in Dutch. Your language is there for explanation and comparison, not as a replacement.
Suitable for beginners, and for advanced learners preparing for the Staatsexamen NT2 or for work in Dutch.
All lessons are online. Start with a free 30-minute intake, in Dutch, English or Russian.
