Exams and professional gateways

Some Dutch has a deadline attached. The Staatsexamen NT2, language requirements for professional registration, entrance requirements for training programmes — these are not general language goals but gateways, with a format, a standard and a date.

I prepare professionals for exactly this. That means training the exam as well as the language: the task formats, the assessment criteria, the specialised vocabulary of your field, and the register of Dutch test questions — which is a language of its own.

I have particular experience with medical professionals preparing for Dutch registration and assessment procedures: the language of patient conversations, case presentations and medical documentation, alongside the exam itself. But the approach applies to any gateway — from teaching qualifications to technical certifications to aviation.
